Pakistan Hockey Team Management Reshuffled Ahead of Pro Hockey League

The Pakistan Hockey Federation has once again made changes to the national team management ahead of the Pro Hockey League, according to sources in Lahore.
As part of the revised arrangements, goalkeeping coach Mazhar Abbas will not accompany the team for the upcoming assignment. Officials said the decision was made during the final selection of the support staff.
Former captain Wasim Ahmad is expected to join the coaching staff, with reports suggesting he may link up with the squad in Belgium due to his current residence in Australia.
The Pakistan squad will consist of 20 players and five officials, with all travel arrangements reportedly finalized. The management team will include head coach Manzoor-ul-Hassan, while Wasim Ahmad will serve as part of the coaching setup. Khuwaja Junaid has been assigned dual responsibilities as team manager and coach.
In addition, Sultan Ashraf will serve as video analyst, and Fahad Javed will be part of the medical and fitness support staff.
According to sources, the national team will hold its final training session in Lahore today before departing for Karachi. The squad is scheduled to leave for Belgium on June 10 for participation in the Pro Hockey League.
The frequent changes in management come as Pakistan aims to improve its performance in international hockey competitions.
