Pakistan Captain Babar Azam to Take Short Break from Cricket, Skips National T20 Cup

Lahore:Star batter **Babar Azam** has decided to take a short break from cricket on the advice of the national team management.

Sources said that the management recommended rest for Babar, and as a result, he will not participate in the ongoing **National T20 Cup**. The team management has also not instructed him to play in the tournament. Babar has informed **Lahore Whites**, who are competing in the National T20 Cup, about his unavailability.

During this period, Babar has started training in the nets with individual coaches to improve his batting and prepare for the upcoming **Pakistan Super League**. Reports indicate that he is working on refining his previous batting techniques to make them more effective.

It is expected that Babar Azam will open the innings for **Peshawar Zalmi** in the upcoming PSL season.
