Aleema Khan Urges PTI Leaders to Secure Meeting with Imran Khan Before Budget Approval

Rawalpindi (News Desk) — Aleema Khan, sister of former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, has advised Sohail Afridi to ensure a meeting with Imran Khan before proceeding with the approval of the budget.

Speaking to the media, Aleema Khan said that whenever the government senses rising public anger and political pressure, it begins spreading rumors about negotiations and political deals to protect itself. She maintained that no such deal is currently taking place.

She questioned why Imran Khan has allegedly been kept in solitary confinement for the past seven months and urged journalists to seek answers from Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi regarding the matter. According to Aleema Khan, her family is not seeking any political relief or deal, but only demanding what she described as Imran Khan’s legal and constitutional rights.

Aleema Khan further alleged that Imran Khan has been subjected to mental and physical hardship over the past eight months. She called for his immediate transfer to Shifa International Hospital for a comprehensive eye examination and medical treatment by specialist doctors.

Referring to reports about possible meetings involving former military officials, she questioned why a former army chief would meet Imran Khan and claimed such reports were unfounded. She also cited comments by PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, who reportedly dismissed the speculation as false.

The PTI leader’s sister also criticized the electoral process, alleging that public votes had been disregarded and expressing concerns about the political situation in Gilgit-Baltistan. She claimed that PTI was not being allowed to conduct its election campaign freely in the region.

Aleema Khan urged PTI’s leadership, lawmakers, senators, and senior party officials to join supporters and demonstrate solidarity with Imran Khan. She said that if the party leadership does not respond to what she described as a “final call,” the public and media would have the right to question their commitment to the party’s founder.

Her remarks come amid ongoing political discussions surrounding the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa budget and the broader political climate in the country.
