Case Registered Against Mahmood Khan Achakzai in Chaman Over Alleged Anti-State Remarks and Road Blockage

Chaman / Quetta (Khabar Desk) — A case has been registered at Chaman Police Station against Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz Aain Pakistan chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai over allegations of delivering anti-state remarks during a public gathering, blocking a main road, and inciting the public.

According to details, the case was registered on the complaint of Chairman Red Crescent Abdul Wali Ghbizei, son of Abdul Ghaffar Khan. The FIR, numbered 38/26 with E-tag CMH-5/29/2026-13, has been filed under sections 153A, 505, 131, 341, 147, 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code along with the Loudspeaker Act.

The FIR states that the complainant was present near Government High School Taj Road Chaman, where a public rally of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party was underway at the school ground. Around 650 to 700 people reportedly attended the gathering.

It further alleges that during his speech, Mahmood Khan Achakzai criticized the government, stating that incidents of vehicles being set on fire were increasing in Balochistan and that the provincial government had failed to provide security to citizens. He also allegedly referred to the current rulers as “fake rulers of Form-47” and suggested forming an alternative force by recruiting individuals from different tribes in comparison to the Pakistan Army.

The FIR further claims that he encouraged local citizens in Chaman to obtain Afghan identity documents, which allegedly aimed to create hostility between state institutions and the public and spread incitement.

Police stated that the main road was blocked by ropes during the rally, causing disruption to public traffic. The FIR also alleges that loudspeakers were used without permission and that harsh language was used against state institutions.

The complainant said that video evidence of the incident has also been submitted as proof. Police have registered the case and initiated further legal proceedings.
