6 Killed, 2 Injured in Horrific Road Accident on RCD Highway in Kalat
Kalat (AAN News) — At least six people, including two women and two children, were killed and two others injured in a tragic road accident on the RCD Highway near the Toll Plaza area of Kalat district, Balochistan.
According to police, the accident occurred when a pickup vehicle collided head-on with a Toyota car. All passengers in the car died on the spot due to the severe impact.
The deceased have been identified as Amjad, Haji Ayub, Bibi Salma, Arifa, and two children. The victims belonged to Pishin and were reportedly travelling from Karachi to Pishin to celebrate Eid with their family.
The pickup driver, Amanullah, and his companion, Saeed Ahmed, a resident of Quetta, sustained serious injuries. They were immediately shifted to DHQ Hospital Kalat for medical treatment.
Police said that further investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Saddar Police Kalat to determine the exact cause of the accident.
