Final Draft of US-Iran Agreement Expected Soon, Next Round of Talks Likely After Eid in Islamabad

Islamabad – Significant progress has been reported in the ongoing ceasefire negotiations between the United States and Iran, with diplomatic sources suggesting that the final draft of a proposed agreement may be announced soon.

According to Arab media reports, intensive diplomatic contacts are underway to finalize the agreement at the earliest possible stage. It is further claimed that a key Pakistani figure may visit Iran within the next 24 hours to meet senior Iranian leadership, where discussions regarding the completion of the draft could be formally concluded.

Sources indicate that the next phase of negotiations between the two countries is expected to be held in Islamabad after Eid-ul-Adha, with Pakistan reportedly playing a mediating role in the process.

Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has visited Iran for the second time within 24 hours, where he held meetings with top Iranian officials regarding the ongoing US-Iran diplomatic engagement.

US President Donald Trump has also hinted at the possibility of upcoming ceasefire talks with Iran, stating that planned strikes on Tehran were recently halted to allow diplomatic efforts to continue.

In response, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister welcomed the development and expressed gratitude to President Trump, saying the move could provide Iran additional space for negotiations and help reduce tensions in the Middle East region.
