Journalists’ Dismissals Have Become a Serious Issue, Says Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta (Kudrat Daily) — Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, while addressing the Balochistan Assembly, said that the dismissal of journalists has become a serious issue and assured that the provincial government will not allow any injustice against journalists in Balochistan.
He stated that Balochistan is “the crown of Pakistan” and its journalists have always performed their duties under difficult circumstances. He added that the entire assembly stands with the journalists of Balochistan and supports their rights.
The Chief Minister criticized media house owners, saying they are viewing Balochistan only from a business perspective while ignoring the problems faced by journalists in the province.
Sarfraz Bugti further revealed that the matter had already been raised with Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar in the past, and he would once again contact him by phone to discuss the issue and seek a solution.
He reiterated that the government would not allow any unfair treatment or excesses against journalists in Balochistan.
