Grand Independence Day Rally Held in Turbat; Pakistan Was Earned Through Millions of Sacrifices: Haji Barkat Rind

TURBAT: A grand rally was held in Turbat as part of preparations for Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations under the leadership of senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Fisheries, Mohtaram Haji Barkat Rind.

The rally started from the residence of Haji Barkat Rind and was attended by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Balochistan Information Secretary and Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, PML-N provincial leader Mir Attaullah Mohammadzai, PML-N Kech district president Haji Salman Rind, district vice president Haji Irshad Dhundai and Union Council Chairman Khalil Rind.

During the rally, Haji Barkat Rind carried the national flag and led chants of “Pakistan Zindabad” as well as slogans in support of the Pakistan Army and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

Speaking on the occasion, Haji Barkat Rind said that August 14 was not merely a day for celebration but also a reminder that Pakistan was achieved after the sacrifices of millions of Muslims.

“Pakistan was not given to us as a gift; our elders made countless sacrifices to achieve it,” he said. He added that the green and white national flag was not merely a piece of cloth but represented the blood of martyrs, the prayers of mothers, the sacrifices of elders and the dream of a free nation.

He said the nation must pledge to protect Pakistan from all threats and foil conspiracies against the country. He urged the public to play their role in the development, peace and stability of Pakistan and demonstrate unity and solidarity on Independence Day.

Haji Barkat Rind prayed for peace, stability, prosperity and development in Pakistan and expressed hope that the people of Balochistan would prosper and every Pakistani would be granted the ability to serve the country with sincerity and honesty.

Provincial Minister Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi said that the nation must promote unity, brotherhood and national cohesion instead of hatred, prejudice and division. He said the Pakistani nation had always confronted difficult circumstances and kept its national flag flying high.

He said that from the soil of Turbat and Balochistan, a message should be conveyed to the world that Pakistan was their homeland, identity and a trust for future generations.

Buledi stressed the need to rise above differences, strengthen unity and provide young people with opportunities for education, skills, a better life and progress.

PML-N Kech district president Haji Salman Rind said that ensuring Balochistan’s progress, peace and prosperity was the collective responsibility of everyone.

He said young people were not merely the future of the country but represented Pakistan today. If they carried books in their hands, faith in their hearts, honesty in their character and love for Pakistan, no power in the world could prevent the Pakistani nation from progressing.

He said the country needed to be strengthened rather than weakened, unity promoted instead of hatred, hope created instead of despair, and practical steps taken instead of merely making statements.

“Nations are built not merely through slogans but through character, while countries progress not only through governments but through the hard work and sacrifices of their people,” he said.

Haji Salman Rind expressed his resolve that Pakistan existed, Pakistan exists today and, God willing, Pakistan would continue to exist forever.:::
