K-Electric Announces No Load Shedding in Areas Experiencing 45°C Heat Amid Heatwave

In response to the ongoing heatwave, K-Electric has announced that load shedding will not be carried out in any area of Karachi where the “feels-like” temperature reaches 45°C.

Khurram Abdullah, Head of Distribution Operations at K-Electric, stated that all scheduled maintenance shutdowns have also been suspended due to the severe heat conditions. He added that if the perceived temperature in any locality reaches 45°C, power outages will be avoided in those areas.
