Presidential Spokesperson Accuses Afghan Taliban of Sheltering Militants to Serve India and Israel

Islamabad: Presidential spokesperson Murtaza Solangi has accused the Afghan Taliban-led administration of providing support to militant groups operating against Pakistan, alleging that such actions are intended to please India and Israel.

The remarks came after Solangi, who also served as Pakistan’s former caretaker Minister for Information, reposted a statement by Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar on X regarding terrorism.

In his post, Solangi claimed that the “illegal Afghan Taliban government” was allowing its territory to be used by militants to launch attacks against innocent Pakistani civilians and security personnel. He alleged that these actions were aimed at damaging Pakistan’s image as a promoter of global peace while serving the interests of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Solangi further stated that the Afghan Taliban either believe Pakistan will refrain from taking action or are confident that their alleged backers will protect them.

He warned that Pakistan would pursue not only those responsible for carrying out terrorist attacks but also those accused of supporting and financing them.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s stance against terrorism, Solangi said the country would continue its efforts to eliminate militant threats while maintaining its commitment to promoting peace and stability around the world. He concluded his post with the slogan “Pakistan Zindabad” and the hashtag #PeaceMakerOfTheWorld.

The Afghan Taliban administration has consistently denied allegations that it allows Afghan territory to be used for attacks against other countries.
