European Nations Plan Naval Coalition to Secure Strait of Hormuz Shipping

European countries have begun developing a plan to form a broad coalition aimed at ensuring safe maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, according to foreign media reports.
The proposed initiative seeks to bring multiple nations together to reduce threats faced by commercial vessels in the strategically vital waterway. The plan reportedly includes deploying mine-clearing units and other naval ships to safeguard the route.
According to a report by *The Wall Street Journal*, Europe is also working on a post-conflict strategy to maintain shipping operations in the Strait of Hormuz without direct involvement from the United States.
The move reflects growing concerns over maritime security in one of the world’s most critical oil transit chokepoints.
