Sindh High Court Allows 9th Grader to Sit Exams Amid Early Fee Dispute Case

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has granted conditional permission for a ninth-grade student to appear in upcoming examinations in a case concerning the early demand of June and July school fees by a private school.

During the hearing in Karachi, the court directed that the student be allowed to sit for the exams without any obstruction. The court further ordered that the student’s result should not be issued until the next hearing.

The case involves allegations that a private school prematurely issued fee challans for June and July, contrary to a circular issued by the Sindh education authorities, which states that such fees should be collected in April and May.

The petitioner’s counsel argued that the student had already cleared all outstanding dues, and despite complaints to relevant authorities, no action was taken against the school administration.

After hearing the arguments, the court issued notices and sought replies from the Advocate General of Sindh and other respondents.

The matter will be taken up again at the next hearing at the Sindh High Court in Karachi.
