Pakistan Makes Key Progress on Export of 100,000 Tons of Rice to Bangladesh

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Pakistan has made significant progress in exporting 100,000 metric tons of rice to Bangladesh.
The Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has opened a tender for the purchase of rice intended for export to Bangladesh. According to TCP documents, a total of 11 bids were received, with the lowest bid at $394.95 per metric ton and the highest at $424.80 per metric ton.
Under the tender, the purchased rice will be exported from Karachi Port to Bangladesh, with a minimum quantity of 25,000 tons and a maximum of 100,000 tons. The documents also specify that delivery of the rice must be completed within 45 days of awarding the contract.
