International media outlets, including Al Jazeera, BBC, and The Diplomat, described the development as a major diplomatic success for Pakistan.
Following the ceasefire, Pakistan’s global reputation has seen a noticeable boost, with many Pakistanis living abroad expressing pride in the country’s achievements. Social media platforms have been flooded with posts of users sharing photos and videos holding the green passport.
Some users described the moment as a source of national pride, while others highlighted how Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts helped avert a larger conflict. Many also praised the leadership of Ishaq Dar for his role in the peace process.
