Balochistan Police Launch Modern Complaint System to Ensure Accountability and Swift Justice

Quetta – Balochistan Police has introduced a modern complaint system aimed at curbing misconduct by police personnel and ensuring prompt justice for citizens.

According to a police spokesperson, the initiative has been launched on the directives of the Inspector General (IG) of Balochistan Police to provide the public with direct and easy access to lodge complaints. Citizens can now report issues such as police misconduct, abuse of authority, refusal or delay in registering FIRs through dedicated channels.

As part of the new system, a WhatsApp number (03043470110) linked to the IG Police has been provided, allowing citizens to submit complaints along with videos or other evidence. Additionally, a toll-free number (111-775544-81) has been introduced to facilitate free and direct communication with authorities.

The spokesperson stated that the primary objective of this initiative is to rebuild public trust in law enforcement and ensure timely delivery of justice. Important contact numbers have also been displayed outside police stations across the province to improve accessibility.

A special complaint cell has been established at the Central Police Office in Quetta, where all complaints are formally registered and acted upon promptly. Authorities emphasized that the identity of complainants will be kept strictly confidential to encourage citizens to come forward without fear.

Officials further stated that every complaint will be thoroughly investigated, and strict legal action will be taken against any officer found guilty. The system also aims to ensure timely registration of FIRs and improve overall police accountability.

Balochistan Police has urged the public to make full use of this facility and report any injustice, as part of efforts to establish a transparent, responsive, and accountable policing system.
