Anti-Corruption Crackdown in Quetta Leads to Arrests of Civil Defence, AG Office Officials

Quetta: The Anti-Corruption Establishment has carried out a major کارروائی against corruption in Quetta, arresting two government officials and registering a case against them, officials confirmed.
Those arrested include Civil Defence cashier Muhammad Kamran and Assistant Accounts Officer Alam Zeb Zarkoon from the Accountant General (AG) Office. An FIR has been lodged, while raids are ongoing to apprehend other suspects, including a former Director of Civil Defence and several accomplices.
According to investigators, the accused were involved in illegally recruiting relatives and individuals from other provinces into government positions. It was further revealed that after a year, their salaries were allegedly manipulated and retroactively adjusted in official records to legitimize the незаконные appointments.
Authorities stated that further raids are underway and additional arrests are expected as the investigation progresses.
