Dr. Malik Baloch Calls for Relief in Nushki and Zehri Amid Curfew Hardships

Quetta (Qudrat Daily) – The central committee meeting of the National Party was held in Quetta under the chairmanship of its President, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, where participants expressed concern over the ongoing regional situation and its impact on civilians.

Addressing the meeting, Dr. Malik Baloch said that the prevailing tensions pose a serious threat to peace and stability in the region and are adversely affecting ordinary people. He emphasized that war and conflict are not solutions but lead to humanitarian crises, urging all parties to adopt dialogue and diplomatic means to resolve disputes.

He noted that the world is undergoing a transition from a unipolar to a multipolar system, with emerging economies playing a greater role in global affairs. He added that identity-based movements are gaining strength worldwide, making it essential to promote peace, dialogue, and mutual respect.

Highlighting the situation in Balochistan, he described conditions as alarming, stating that roads have become unsafe and people are unable to access their homes. He also alleged that workers of the National Party are facing harassment in various مناطق, including Panjgur, Turbat, Awaran, Jhao, and Quetta.

Dr. Malik Baloch stressed that political ideologies cannot be changed through force and reaffirmed that his party would not abandon its principles under pressure. He said the sacrifices of party martyrs remain a guiding force and reiterated that Balochistan’s issues can only be resolved through serious political dialogue and democratic processes, not through the use of force. He also highlighted the issue of missing persons as critical and requiring urgent attention.

He specifically called for immediate relief for residents of Nushki and Zehri, stating that curfews and restrictions have created severe hardships for the public.

The meeting also reviewed organizational matters and institutional agendas, with various party leaders, including Mir Kabir Ahmed, Aslam Baloch, Ayub Malik, Haji Fida Hussain Dashti, Saad Baloch, Khair Jan Baloch, Mehrab Baloch, Yasmin Lehri, Changez Hayee Baloch, Mir Abdul Khaliq Baloch, Majeed Sajdi, Haji Atta Muhammad Bangalzai, Abdul Samad Baloch, Dr. Ramzan Hazara, Waja Ashraf Hussain, and Waleed Bizenjo also addressed the session.
