All Resources Being Utilized to Improve Power Supply System in Balochistan: QESCO CEO
**Sibi —** Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Quetta Electric Supply Company (**QESCO**), **Engineer Syed Muhammad Yousaf Zah**, has said that all available resources are being utilized to improve the province’s electricity distribution system and to ease the difficulties faced by consumers.
During his visit to **Sibi**, the CEO addressed **WAPDA** officers and employees, emphasizing that electricity is a **national trust**, and its responsible use is essential for the country’s progress. “We must ensure the proper and efficient use of electricity while fulfilling our professional and national duties to keep WAPDA’s morale high,” he said.
Yousaf Zah praised the dedication of WAPDA officers and staff, calling them “our valuable asset,” and referred to electricity consumers as “the crown of our heads.” He directed that **consumer welfare and problem-solving** should remain the top priority.
The CEO also instructed officials to take **strict and indiscriminate action against electricity theft and the use of illegal connections (kunda system)**, stressing the need to ensure uninterrupted and quality power supply across the province.
Earlier, upon his arrival at the **QESCO Sibi Operation Circle**, Superintending Engineer **Mir Hassan Ali Magsi** briefed the CEO in detail about the circle’s performance, challenges, and ongoing development projects.
Presiding over a review meeting, the CEO directed all officers to further tighten the circle around power thieves and enhance the **efficiency and stability of the power distribution system**.
The meeting was attended by **Superintending Engineer Mir Hassan Ali Magsi**, **XEN Operation Mir Zafar Ali Chalghari**, **Deputy Commercial Manager Farooq Ali Khan**, **XEN Construction Barkat Bugti**, **SDO Mola Bakhsh**, **SDO Lehri Muhammad Ansari**, **SDO Dhadar Muhammad Nawaz Khosa**, **MS Muhammad Ali Soomro**, **Barkat Ali**, and other senior officials.
