Saudi Arabia Extends Visitor Visas Until April 18, Allows Exit Without Penalty Amid Regional Tensions

Riyadh: In light of the ongoing regional tensions, Saudi Arabia has announced major relief measures for visitors and foreign nationals currently in the Kingdom, extending visa validity until April 18.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, all visitors whose visas were set to expire on February 25 have been granted an extension until April 18.
Authorities also confirmed that visa holders can extend their stay by paying the required fee through the Absher platform, making the process easier and more accessible.
In a significant move, Saudi officials have allowed all categories of visa holders to exit the country without facing any penalties, providing relief to those affected by travel disruptions and flight suspensions.
The decision comes amid ongoing regional uncertainties that have impacted travel and mobility. However, authorities have urged all visitors to leave the country before the April 18 deadline to avoid legal complications.
The initiative has been widely welcomed by expatriates and visitors, as it offers flexibility and ease during a period of travel uncertainty.
