Pakistan Holds In-Camera Briefing on Regional Tensions Amid Iran Conflict; PTI Stays Away

Islamabad: The Prime Minister’s House has begun an **in-camera briefing** for political parties and members of parliament regarding the ongoing regional tensions following the Pakistan-Afghanistan border incidents and the conflict involving the US and Israel against Iran.
According to sources, members of opposition party **Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)** are **not participating** in the briefing. However, lawmakers from **Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP)** are attending.
Officials from the **Ministry of Foreign Affairs** are providing a detailed overview of the foreign policy situation, while **security authorities** are briefing participants on developments related to the Iran-Israel conflict and the security situation along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
PTI had announced the previous day that its members would **refrain from attending any government meetings** until a meeting with party leader Imran Khan takes place.
