Several Indian showbiz personalities have been stranded in the UAE following ongoing airspace closures triggered by rising tensions in the Middle East. The celebrities have appealed to the Indian government for assistance in returning home, while assuring fans that they are safe.
### Sreeja Konidela Confirms Safety
According to media reports, Sreeja Konidela, daughter of Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi, along with her daughters, is currently in Dubai.
Amid heightened tensions involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, she reassured her followers through Instagram stories that she and her children are safe. She stated that local authorities are ensuring public safety and added, “We chose this country, and we stand by it.”
### Esha Gupta Praises UAE Authorities
Bollywood actress Esha Gupta is reportedly in Abu Dhabi. She shared her concerns on Instagram, acknowledging that the situation is not pleasant but commended UAE authorities for calmly handling the crisis.
She wrote that officials are doing a commendable job taking care of individuals stranded at airports.
### Nargis Fakhri Describes Stressful Situation
Actress Nargis Fakhri also spoke about her experience while being in Dubai during the tense period. Sharing a photo of the city skyline, she described the past two days as extremely stressful and “very chaotic.”
### Sonal Chauhan Appeals for Assistance
Earlier, Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan, known for her role opposite Emraan Hashmi in the film Jannat, revealed on X that she was stranded in Dubai due to flight suspensions.
She confirmed she is safe but urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to assist stranded citizens, saying all flights had been canceled and there was no clear route back to India.
### Ajith Kumar Also Stranded
Tamil film star Ajith Kumar has also been stranded in Dubai after his scheduled flight was canceled due to airspace restrictions. On March 1, his manager Suresh confirmed that the actor returned from the airport after being unable to board his flight and remains safe in Dubai.
### Airlines Monitoring Situation
Meanwhile, Indian carriers including Air India and IndiGo have stated that they are closely monitoring the situation and will resume services once safe air routes are restored.
Following recent military escalations between the United States, Israel, and Iran, several parts of the Middle East have experienced temporary airspace closures, leading to widespread flight cancellations and diversions. Social media videos from Dubai International Airport show large crowds of passengers awaiting updates, as airlines continue to assess operational safety.
