Actress Meera Reacts Angrily to Being Called “Psycho” in Viral Interview Clip
KARACHI: Pakistani film and television actress Meera has expressed strong anger after being referred to as “psycho” during a recent viral social media interview clip.
In the video, an interviewer discussed her film *Psycho* and made remarks suggesting that she had previously played “psycho” roles and had not moved beyond such characters in her career.
In response, the actress reacted sharply, stating that she deserved respect and adding that she also receives significant appreciation in India. She objected to being labeled in a derogatory manner and emphasized that her role in the film was a challenging performance.
Meera further said that she had expected recognition and encouragement for both herself and director Shan Shahid for making a difficult film in Pakistan. She described the project as addressing themes related to depression and mental health.
She added that the film was intended to educate audiences, and encouraged viewers to learn from her character if possible, rather than mocking it.
