PM Announces Rs10 Million for Hero Who Stopped Suicide Bomber, Rs5 Million Each for Other Martyrs in Tarnol Blast

**Islamabad:** Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a compensation package following the deadly suicide blast in Tarnol, praising a civilian who sacrificed his life while trying to stop the attacker.

According to reports, the Prime Minister visited Imambargah Khadijat-ul-Kubra in Tarnol and met with the mosque administration and the families of the victims. During his visit, he paid tribute to Aun Abbas, who was martyred while attempting to overpower the suicide bomber. The Prime Minister announced financial assistance of Rs10 million for his family in recognition of his bravery.

He also announced Rs5 million in compensation for the families of each of the other martyrs who lost their lives in the attack.

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Sharif strongly condemned the blast, saying terrorists have no religion and that the attack was an attempt to divide the nation and create sectarian discord. He stated that the unity of the people had foiled such conspiracies.

“The entire nation is in mourning and deeply saddened by this tragic incident,” he said, adding that law enforcement agencies, including the police and armed forces, are relentlessly pursuing terrorists. He emphasized that the nation owes a debt of gratitude to the armed forces for their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.

The Prime Minister also prayed for the complete eradication of terrorism from the country and assured the families that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain.
