Unusual Pink Hue of Water at Gadani Jetty Raises Concerns Among Locals and Tourists

Gadani Jetty's Water Turns Pink Due to Pollution, Environmental Department Issues Warning

The water at Gadani Jetty has turned an unusual pink color, causing concern among local residents, fishermen, and tourists. This rare occurrence has prompted authorities from the Environmental Protection Department of Balochistan to issue a statement regarding the situation.
According to a report by the Environmental Protection Department, the water at Gadani Jetty has turned pink due to pollution. In addition to the color change, a foul smell has also started to spread in the area.
Imran Kakr, the Deputy Director of the Environmental Protection Department, stated that the water had been stagnant at the jetty for a long period, and biological changes in the water led to the color transformation. The department’s report further clarified that the pink color of the water is due to the transformation of microorganisms in the ecosystem. As a precaution, people have been advised to stay away from the water.
