Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party Condemns Forced Eviction of Afghan Kadowal Families

Quetta (Qudrat Daily): The provincial secretariat of the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PNAP) has strongly condemned the inhumane move by the government and state institutions to forcibly evict Afghan Kadowal families residing in the Sarkhab area of Pishin district during extreme cold, snowfall, and rainfall, just days before the arrival of Ramadan.
According to the press release, while the majority of Afghan Kadowal families in Sarkhab have left voluntarily, a few households still remain. The statement expressed deep concern that the government and relevant authorities are attempting to forcibly displace even this small number of families amid harsh weather conditions, which constitutes a serious violation of human rights as well as ethical and social norms.
PNAP demanded that any form of coercion or force against the Afghan Kadowal families in the Sarkhab camp be immediately stopped and that they be provided opportunities to live with dignity, safety, and peace. The party emphasized its full solidarity with the affected communities and condemned the action as contrary to human compassion, constitutional principles, and international human rights laws.
