Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti visited the families of police officers martyred in the terrorist attacks that occurred in Quetta on January 31, expressing deep condolences and solidarity with the bereaved families.
During the visit, the Chief Minister met with the children of the martyrs, describing them as not just members of a single family but the bright future and hope of the entire nation. He assured the families that the Balochistan government would not leave them unsupported, emphasizing that their welfare is a primary responsibility of the state.
Under the current compensation policy, the families of martyred officers will receive immediate financial assistance along with two government jobs—one in the police department and another in a different government department. All appointment orders are to be issued within a week.
