Chief Secretary Orders Emergency Recruitment, Affordable Flour Supply, and Open Courthouses Across Balochistan

**Quetta:** Under the leadership of **Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakil Qadir Khan**, a conference of commissioners and deputy commissioners was held to take key decisions aimed at improving public services and ensuring economic stability across the province.
The conference focused on emergency appointments of teachers and doctors to fill vacant positions in the education and health sectors on a temporary basis, ensuring better access to educational and medical facilities, especially in rural areas.
Deputy commissioners were instructed to hold regular **open courthouses** to address public grievances and resolve issues related to the lack of services promptly. Additionally, they were directed to **monitor flour prices strictly** and activate price control committees to ensure affordable flour supply during Ramadan. Strict oversight of floor mills and flour mills was emphasized to protect consumer interests.
The Chief Secretary also stressed the importance of **accelerating ongoing development projects** in infrastructure, water, electricity, and road networks to boost the province’s economic growth.
These measures form part of the Balochistan government’s **pro-people policies**, focused on transparency, efficiency, and public welfare.
