Maulana Abdul Wasi Expresses Pride Over Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman’s Warm Reception in Bangladesh, Declares JUI as Leader of the Muslim Ummah

Quetta (Daily Qudrat): **Maulana Abdul Wasi**, Provincial Amir of **Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Balochistan** and Senator, has praised the historic visit of **JUI chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman** to Bangladesh, stating that the enthusiastic reception he received confirms that the ideological and political leadership of the Muslim Ummah remains in the hands of JUI.
Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Abdul Wasi said that JUI serves as the only organized and authentic platform for addressing the religious, social, and political challenges facing the Islamic world. He highlighted that the unprecedented welcome and successful events during Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman’s visit reflect a renewed recognition of the party’s historical legacy and struggle.
He expressed regret over those who, intentionally or unintentionally, attempt to portray JUI as a minor force, emphasizing that the party has consistently demonstrated courage in confronting vested interests and has trained disciplined and principled workers.
Maulana Abdul Wasi further stated that JUI has historically played a decisive role in ensuring the stability and strength of Pakistan, imparting values of development, welfare, and patriotism to the youth. He criticized artificial forces and unrepresentative elements imposed on the public, attributing the country’s current political and economic uncertainty to the sidelining of genuine leadership.
He concluded by warning that history will remember these attempts to marginalize JUI and that the nation will hold accountable those who undermined true democratic representation.
