Balochistan CM Assures Government Support for Development and Restoration of Religious Sites

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has reaffirmed that religious minorities in the province are being provided complete protection and that the development and restoration of their religious sites will be ensured under government patronage. He emphasized that followers of all religions enjoy equal rights in Balochistan and that the provincial government is taking serious steps to safeguard the religious and cultural heritage of minority communities.
The Chief Minister expressed these views on Tuesday while talking to a delegation of minority communities led by Senator Dinesh Kumar. During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the master plan for the Hinglaj Mata Temple, along with ongoing and proposed development projects and matters related to the provision of land. CM Bugti directed the immediate release of all approved funds for the under-construction development projects at the Hinglaj Mata Temple and instructed that the required land be provided at the earliest.
The meeting was attended by Senator Dinesh Kumar, Provincial Assembly Member Sanjay Kumar, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakil Qadir Khan, Senior Member Board of Revenue Qambar Dashti, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Zahid Saleem, Secretary Communications and Works Lal Jan Jafri, Secretary Forests Abdul Fatah Bhangar, members of the committee formed for the Hinglaj Mata Temple, and other relevant officials.
The minority delegation congratulated Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti on his investiture as Chief of Bugti, presented flowers, and conveyed their best wishes.
