Western Weather System Enters Balochistan, Rain and Snow Alert Issued Until December 31

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta) – The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain and snowfall in Balochistan from today until December 31 as a western weather system enters the province.
According to the forecast, Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Nushki, Harnai, Zhob, Qalat, Barkhan, Sibi, Loralai, Musakhel, Turbat, Gwadar, Jiwani, Lasbela, Kech, Awaran, Chagai, Panjgur, Khuzdar, Washuk, and Kharan are expected to experience rainfall, while upper regions may receive snowfall along with thunder and lightning.
The Meteorological Department added that most districts of the province will remain cold and dry on Sunday, with northern districts experiencing severe cold. However, western winds on Monday evening and night are expected to bring rainfall and snowfall in hilly areas.
In the past 24 hours, the minimum temperature in Qalat was recorded at minus 3 degrees Celsius. Authorities have urged residents to take precautions in view of the harsh weather conditions.
