11 Militants Killed in Security Operation in Nushki: ISPR

QUETTA:Eleven militants were killed during an intense exchange of fire with security forces in an intelligence-based operation in Nushki district of Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

ISPR said comprehensive counterterrorism operations were continuing across Balochistan against what it described as Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.

According to the military’s media wing, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in Nushki district on September 25, targeting a militant hideout.

“After an intense exchange of fire, 11 militants were killed,” ISPR said.

The statement added that on September 24, as part of the ongoing Operation Shaban, security forces had traced and destroyed additional militant hideouts. Five militants were killed during an intense exchange of fire, bringing the total number of militants killed during the Shaban operation to 22.

ISPR further stated that 33 militants allegedly linked to Indian-sponsored terrorist networks had been killed since September 2026.

Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the militant hideouts, according to ISPR.

The military’s media wing said security forces and law-enforcement agencies would continue their counterterrorism campaign with full momentum to eliminate what it described as foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
