No Political Path Closed for PTI, Says PM’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah

Islamabad:Adviser to the Prime Minister, Rana Sanaullah, has rejected the claim that no political space has been left for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying it is incorrect to suggest that the party has been completely sidelined.

Speaking on the program *Aaj Shahzaib Khanzada Kay Saath*, Rana Sanaullah said that the Prime Minister had tried on four occasions to open the door for negotiations, but PTI had chosen only one path — rebellion and the elimination of political opponents.

He further stated that a certain group within PTI is determined to spread chaos, anarchy, and disorder. “When they take the law into their own hands, the law will take its own course,” he warned. Rana Sanaullah added that if PTI’s struggle takes a different and confrontational shape, the government’s preparedness will also be of a different kind.

Referring to recent statements by PTI leaders, he said the government is fully aware of the plans being discussed publicly. Earlier, on the same program, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shafi Jan, had announced that PTI has decided to hold a wheel-jam and shutter-down strike on February 8, and that preparations for a street movement are underway.

Shafi Jan had said that this time PTI would come out with full preparation and launch a “next-level” movement. He also claimed that the responsibility of the movement has been assigned to Mahmood Khan Achakzai, and whenever a protest call is given, millions of people would take to the streets.
