Grand Jirga Held in Nasirabad Under FC Balochistan (North), Pledge for Peace, Unity and Development

A grand jirga was held in Nasirabad district under the auspices of Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North), bringing together top civilian and military leadership and a large number of tribal elders.
The jirga was attended by Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandokhail as the chief guest, Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, Commander 12 Corps Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan, Inspector General FC Balochistan (North) Major General Muhammad Atif Mujtaba, Inspector General Police, Commissioner Nasirabad Division, and prominent tribal elders from the region.
During the jirga, detailed discussions were held on regional security, harmony, tribal coordination, and development-related matters. Tribal elders appreciated the practical efforts of the Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan (North) in establishing and restoring peace in the area.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandokhail said that tribal communities have always been strong partners of state institutions. He emphasized that a joint strategy is essential to ensure sustainable peace, successful development projects, and a bright future for the youth.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti stated that the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps would continue to utilize all available resources to ensure lasting peace, social stability, and improvement in basic facilities across the region. He highlighted the vital role of tribal elders in maintaining peace.
Commander 12 Corps Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan said that peace and unity are the keys to Balochistan’s progress and prosperity. He stressed that the public must collectively foil the designs of terrorists and defeat conspiracies of anti-state elements.
At the conclusion of the jirga, tribal elders welcomed the peace initiatives of the Government of Balochistan, Pakistan Army, and FC Balochistan, particularly the Kohan Survey Project and security of the N-65 highway. They reaffirmed their commitment to stand shoulder to shoulder with state institutions for regional peace, social unity, and development.
