Quality Education and Character Building Are the Foundation of a Nation’s Future: CM Balochistan

Sui:** Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has emphasized that quality education, character building, and all-round training form the strong foundation upon which the future of nations is built. He said military cadet colleges are playing a highly effective role in achieving this national objective by equipping young students not only with academic excellence but also with discipline, leadership, patriotism, and a strong sense of national responsibility.
The chief minister expressed these views while addressing the annual Parents’ Day ceremony at Military College Sui. He said institutions like Military College Sui are providing the youth of Balochistan with quality education along with practical training, military traditions, and positive values.
Paying tribute to parents, Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that parents’ guidance, hard work, and sacrifices play a fundamental role in the educational and moral success of children. He added that events like Parents’ Day further strengthen trust and coordination between parents and educational institutions.
The chief minister appreciated the cadets’ outstanding performance in academics, discipline, and co-curricular activities, stating that the youth of Balochistan possess immense potential which can be transformed into a national asset by providing the right direction and a conducive environment. He reaffirmed that the provincial government considers youth education, training, and personality development as its top priority and is taking concrete steps to further strengthen institutions like Military College Sui.
Highlighting the importance of modern educational facilities, sports opportunities, and basic infrastructure for students’ holistic development, the chief minister announced several major initiatives for the college. These include the provision of laptops to second-year students, Rs70 million for solarization of the college, Rs125 million for construction and rehabilitation of internal roads, Rs300 million for the development of an outdoor sports complex, and the construction of a new parade ground.
Earlier, Commandant Military College Sui Brigadier Muhammad Aamir Ejaz briefed the chief minister on the institution’s overall performance, academic standards, and future development plans, and thanked the provincial government for its continued support.
