Imposed rulers lack wisdom and have no capacity to resolve crises: JUI
QUETTA: Rulers imposed on the country lack wisdom and insight and do not have the capacity to resolve crises, while the nation is suffering because of their flawed policies, speakers said at a representative meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Quetta district.
The meeting of tehsil and unit amirs and organisers was held at the district secretariat under the chairmanship of district amir Sheikh-ul-Hadith Maulana Abdul Rahman Rafiq. Organisational performance reports were presented from all tehsils and units.
Delegates put forward proposals to make the party more active, organised and dynamic, make organisational tours result-oriented, revive weak and inactive units and further strengthen party discipline.
They stressed continuity of organisational work at tehsil and unit level, regular meetings, effective contact between office-bearers and workers, ideological and organisational training, and full participation in party programmes.
Office-bearers were told not to treat their posts as mere titles but as party service and an organisational trust. They were directed to strengthen party organisation in their areas, remain in constant contact with workers, hold executive, general and shura meetings on time as per the constitution, complete organisational work promptly and fully implement district party instructions.
Addressing the meeting, district amir Maulana Abdul Rahman Rafiq, secretary general Haji Ainullah Shams and other leaders said the rulers imposed on the country and nation were devoid of wisdom and foresight and that their poor policies had plunged the country into continuous hardship.
They said the present rulers showed no ability to solve serious problems and crises, while the country needed serious, capable and far-sighted leadership.
Speakers said JUI’s leadership was the guardian of the country’s ideological assets and that the party was fully aware of its religious, national and public responsibilities. In the present situation, they said, organising, activating and strengthening party ranks was the need of the hour.
They urged office-bearers at all levels to play a full role in strengthening party organisation, guiding workers effectively and maintaining continuity of organisational activity so that the party can be made stronger and more active down to the grassroots.
