JUI-P Senator Says Public Support Will Ensure Party’s Success in Local Body Elections, Promises Mayorship in Quetta

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) – Senator Maulana Abdul Wasi, provincial head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-P), has expressed confidence that the party’s candidates will achieve success in the upcoming local body elections, asserting that the mayor of Quetta will come from their ranks.
Addressing a delegation of nominated councilors, Senator Abdul Wasi urged them to maintain close coordination with provincial and district leadership to ensure victory. He said, “Powerful forces have always tried to block our path, but we believe in the strength of the people. Our success is assured because public support across Quetta and the rest of Balochistan is with JUI-P.”
He highlighted the party’s focus on public welfare, stating that JUI-P is the only political and religious organization committed to addressing people’s problems. “The development work and employment opportunities provided to youth in Balochistan under our leadership are unprecedented, and our achievements are on record. By the grace of Allah, we have succeeded and will continue to do so in the future,” he added.
Senator Abdul Wasi emphasized that all union councils in Quetta have nominated JUI-P candidates and received party tickets. He instructed the candidates to remain in constant contact with the party’s provincial and district leadership to secure victories at both the union council and city level, ultimately ensuring the election of a JUI-P mayor for Quetta.
