President of Kyrgyzstan Arrives in Islamabad, Warmly Welcomed by President and Prime Minister

Islamabad: Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Noorghoz Zhaparov arrived in Pakistan on a two-day visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He was warmly received at the airport by the President and the Prime Minister.

According to official sources, the Kyrgyz President is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including senior ministers, officials, and business leaders from various sectors.

During the visit, President Zhaparov is scheduled for one-on-one meetings with the President of Pakistan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with delegation-level talks. He will also address the Pakistan-Kyrgyzstan Business Forum.

Discussions are expected to cover all aspects of bilateral relations, including trade, energy, defense, education, people-to-people contacts, and regional coordination. Opportunities to further expand partnership between the two countries will also be explored.

The last presidential visit from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan took place in January 2005. This visit reflects the strong fraternal ties between the two nations and their shared vision for peace and prosperity in Central and South Asia.

The visit is anticipated to give new momentum to bilateral cooperation and strengthen partnership on regional and global platforms.
