Russian Fitness nfluencer Dies Attempting Extreme Weight-Gain Challenge

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — A Russian fitness influencer tragically died while attempting a dangerous weight-gain challenge. 30-year-old Dmitry Neviyanzen from Orenburg aimed to rapidly gain 50 pounds and then demonstrate his ability to lose it, but the plan ended fatally.
According to international media, Dmitry began consuming an extreme 10,000-calorie daily diet of junk food, including pastries and cakes for breakfast, around 1 kilogram of mayonnaise-drenched dumplings for lunch, and burgers and pizza for dinner, alongside high-calorie snacks like potato chips. His goal was to gain at least 25 kilograms to promote his “weight-loss program.”
Within one month, his weight had increased by 13 kilograms to 105 kilograms. On November 18, he posted on Instagram updating his progress. However, a day before his death, he canceled coaching classes due to feeling unwell and intended to see a doctor. Hours later, he passed away in his sleep due to cardiac arrest.
Medical experts noted that despite Dmitry being more physically fit than an average person, consuming four to six times the daily caloric requirement for weeks placed extreme strain on his internal organs, especially his heart. Nutritionists warned that such excessive junk food intake can dangerously increase blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure, potentially causing heart rhythm irregularities or severe pancreatic inflammation.
Dmitry’s sudden death has left his followers and fans shocked and mourning his loss.
