Public Demands Immediate Appointment of Deputy Commissioner as Government Affairs Stall in Musakhel

MUSAKHEL: Government operations in Musakhel district have come to a standstill following the transfer of the Deputy Commissioner on September 30, as no successor has been appointed even after several weeks. The administrative vacuum has led to delays in multiple official matters, increasing public difficulties.
According to local administration and residents, the absence of a Deputy Commissioner has severely affected the Education Department. Several important files, including recent contract postings, remain pending solely due to the lack of required official signatures. This situation has created significant challenges for government staff, teachers, and individuals involved in educational activities.
Social leaders and community representatives have urged the Balochistan government to appoint a permanent Deputy Commissioner for Musakhel without delay, so that routine administrative functions may resume and public hardship can be reduced.
Residents say that crucial district matters—such as development projects, emergency management, relief efforts, and especially ongoing appointments in the education sector—depend heavily on the presence of a Deputy Commissioner. They warn that prolonging this administrative gap could cause further harm to the district.
The people and concerned departments have appealed to the Balochistan government to immediately fill the vacant DC position in Musakhel to restore suspended official processes and provide relief to the affected population.
