Controversial Statement by Dr. Nabiha Sparks Outrage: Says Pakistani Women Should Have Bodies Like Nora Fatehi to Please Men

Lahore – Social media influencer and TV analyst **Dr. Nabiha** has sparked widespread controversy after claiming that men have the right to look at attractive women like **Nora Fatehi**, and that Pakistani women are at fault if their bodies do not match such standards.

Speaking on a podcast, Dr. Nabiha stated that many Pakistani women gain weight after marriage, leaving little for their husbands to admire. She argued that men’s admiration for actresses like Nora Fatehi is a result of women’s “negligence” in maintaining their appearance.

Addressing actress **Fiza Ali**, Dr. Nabiha said that if men look at Nora Fatehi, it is neither the man’s nor Nora’s fault, but that Pakistani women could achieve similar bodies if they made the effort. “If men are looking at Nora Fatehi, women should work on themselves to be noticed,” she added.

The remarks came following Fiza Ali’s interview, where she discussed the influence of Bollywood actresses **Malaika Arora** and Nora Fatehi on beauty standards, suggesting that women try to emulate their body structure, particularly their hips, to attract men. Ali also made inappropriate comments about these actresses’ bodies, which led to public backlash.

Social media users criticized Dr. Nabiha’s comments as **foolish and misogynistic**. One user sarcastically suggested that Nora Fatehi could bake two rotis a day, manage children and household chores, and still maintain her figure, implying such standards are unrealistic for ordinary women. Another user pointed out the financial and logistical limitations faced by Pakistani women, managing households, jobs, and children while attempting to care for themselves.

Critics also questioned the double standard, asking how Dr. Nabiha would respond if women refused to look at overweight men.

Dr. Nabiha, a well-known TV anchor and social commentator, has faced controversy for previous remarks, but her recent statements on **women’s bodies and rights** have drawn particular condemnation amid ongoing campaigns against **body shaming**.
