TikToker Arshma’s Death in Lahore Declared Suicide by Police
LAHORE – September 7, 2026: Police have provisionally declared the death of 25-year-old TikToker and beautician Arshma as suicide, based on preliminary evidence recovered from the scene in Lahore’s Islam Pura area.
Arshma, who ran a beauty parlor and regularly uploaded videos on TikTok, had rented Flat No. 203 at Ahmed Hostel some time ago and was residing there alone. Her body was discovered hanging from a noose in the flat three days ago, sparking widespread attention on social media.
According to police sources, initial findings from the crime scene point toward suicide. After completing the post-mortem examination, the body has been handed over to the heirs. Physical samples have been sent to the laboratory for forensic analysis.
“Final conclusions will be reached after the forensic report is received, following which further legal action will be taken,” police officials stated.
However, City SP Arshad Hayat Kanjo emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and all possible angles, including suspicious circumstances, are being thoroughly examined.
“All aspects of the incident are being investigated. Every possible angle, including suicide and any suspicious elements, is being considered,” Kanjo told reporters.
In a significant development, the police investigation team has detained one suspicious individual in connection with the case. Sources reveal that crucial evidence regarding the suspect’s entry and movement in Arshma’s flat has been uncovered.
“The suspect’s visits and movements related to Arshma’s flat have yielded important evidence, and he is currently being interrogated for further questioning,” a police source confirmed.
The case has drawn significant public attention, with social media users expressing shock and demanding a transparent investigation. Friends and acquaintances of Arshma have expressed doubts over the suicide theory, calling for a thorough probe into the circumstances leading to her death.
The final cause of death will be determined once the forensic report is received by the investigating team. Police have assured that all legal proceedings will follow accordingly.
