Pakistan Exposes False Claims and Propaganda by Indian ‘Godi Media

Islamabad – Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has exposed what it calls false claims and a coordinated propaganda campaign by India’s “Godi media.” According to the ministry, Indian media outlets distorted and misrepresented a recent speech by former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq.

The ministry stated that Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq’s address in the AJK Assembly — aired on all Pakistani channels — referenced his tenure and Pakistan’s firm response to India’s terror proxies in Balochistan. He had cited the “Ma’raka-e-Haq” operation, recalling India’s heavy losses during the confrontation.

Anwar-ul-Haq had stated that during the operation, Pakistan’s armed forces responded decisively, saying, *“Our forces hit them so hard that India still hasn’t finished counting its aircraft.”*

However, Indian media platforms linked to intelligence agencies such as RAW allegedly lifted selective video clips from his speech, twisted the context, and falsely claimed that the former AJK premier had “admitted” Pakistan’s involvement in the recent New Delhi blast.

Pakistan’s Information Ministry clarified that the remarks referred solely to past military engagements — not any recent incident inside India. The ministry said Indian channels deliberately mistranslated statements and added misleading subtitles to fabricate a narrative.

Officials noted that spreading false-flag accusations and blaming Pakistan without evidence is a longstanding tactic of Indian media, which has also attempted to tie the New Delhi blast to Pakistan without proof.

The statement added that senior Indian officials, including Ajit Doval, have repeatedly tried to link internal Indian incidents to supposed retaliatory operations in Balochistan, while simultaneously acknowledging India’s use of proxies in Pakistan.

The ministry warned the public to beware of fabricated clips, mistranslations, and sensationalized reporting by Indian media. It advised verifying complete speeches and relying on transparent information sources before accepting major security-related claims.
