Former Federal Minister Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind Voices Deep Concern Over Famine in Balochistan

**Gandawah (Qudrat Daily)** — Former Federal Minister *Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind* has expressed serious concern over the ongoing *severe famine* in Balochistan, particularly in *Kechi* and *Jhal Magsi* districts. Speaking to the media in Gandawah, he highlighted that the famine has *pushed agriculture and livestock sectors to the brink of collapse*, leaving people struggling even for two meals a day, while the government remains silent on this critical issue.
Rind criticized the *27th Constitutional Amendment*, stating that it has *weakened democracy* and undermined public representation. He also dismissed the Chief Minister of Balochistan’s *claims of development projects worth billions* as unrealistic, pointing out that the *ground realities* in areas like Jhal Magsi and Gandawah are far from the reported progress, with roads and infrastructure still appearing *centuries behind*.
He condemned the recent *three-day bus service suspension* as a *public-unfriendly decision* that will further burden the people. Additionally, Rind referred to the *Bhaag incident* as a *complete failure of governance* and paid tribute to the *martyred SHO*.
Rind emphasized that maintaining *law and order* is the responsibility of both the provincial and federal governments, but regrettably, *both have failed to fulfill their duties*.
