Interior Minister Warns Afghanistan Over Militants; Says Suicide Blast a “Coordinated Threat” — 12 Killed, 27 Injured

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister **Mohsin Naqvi** has warned that Pakistan has provided evidence to Afghan authorities showing how militants receive training in Afghanistan before carrying out attacks, and said Islamabad will take measures if Kabul fails to act.
Speaking to the media, Naqvi said a suicide blast at **12:39 p.m.** outside the district court (kachehri) on Tuesday left **12 people dead and 27 wounded**. He added that the Prime Minister has ordered the immediate treatment of the injured.
Naqvi described the court attack as part of a wider, coordinated threat. He said the bomber had been planning to enter the courthouse but, failing that, detonated near a police vehicle. Identifying the suicide attacker is a top priority, he said.
Referring to a separate incident in **Wana** the previous day — where a vehicle-borne attacker detonated at an entry point — Naqvi alleged links to actors based in Afghanistan. “We have an idea of what Afghanistan is doing,” he told reporters, adding that Pakistani security agencies have traced communications and training routes used by militants. “If the hostile elements in Afghanistan are not stopped, we will make arrangements ourselves,” he warned.
Naqvi promised that those involved in the courthouse attack will be brought to justice and said clearance operations are ongoing in affected areas. Security forces have sealed the blast site and launched investigations, he added.
