Serious Questions Raised Over Balochistan MDCAT 2025; Students Protest, Warn of Legal Action

Quetta: Students who appeared in the recently held MDCAT 2025 in Balochistan have raised serious concerns over the conduct and transparency of the medical entrance examination. Addressing a press conference, the affected students alleged multiple irregularities in the test and its results.

The students claimed that they have not been provided with their *question booklets (booklets)* — a standard practice followed in other provinces of Pakistan. They accused the Principal of Bolan Medical College of deliberately withholding the booklets, despite repeated email requests from the students seeking copies for review.

The students warned that if the authorities failed to provide the booklets, they would take the matter to court to seek justice.

They also highlighted several other irregularities during the test process:

* The exam, held on **October 26**, started with significant delays.
* Many **Physics and Chemistry questions** were reportedly *out of syllabus*.
* While the official total marks for the MDCAT were **180**, the results issued displayed a **total of 200 marks**, raising further doubts about transparency.

The protesting candidates appealed to the **Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Quetta** to take immediate notice of the situation to safeguard their academic futures.
