Balochistan Launches ‘Komak Program’ to Support 30,000 Persons with Disabilities with Monthly Stipends, Education, and Financial Assistance

**Quetta (Qudrat News)** — Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Social Welfare **Haji Wali Muhammad Noorzai** has announced the launch of the **Komak Program**, a landmark initiative aimed at improving the quality of life and social inclusion of persons with disabilities across Balochistan.

Speaking to a delegation of differently-abled individuals, Noorzai said the program represents a **historic step toward empowerment and self-reliance**, enabling persons with disabilities to play a more active role in social and economic life.

He stated that following the approval of **Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti**, the government has allocated **Rs. 2 billion** for the welfare of **30,000 registered persons with disabilities** under the Komak Program. The initiative will provide beneficiaries with a **monthly stipend, educational support, scholarships, marriage grants, and other essential facilities**.

The Parliamentary Secretary further directed district officers and directors across the province to **expedite the registration process** and ensure that welfare measures under the program are implemented without delay.

He emphasized that the goal is to make sure every person with a disability in Balochistan receives **meaningful assistance and opportunities** to participate fully in the progress and development of society.
