Security Forces’ Timely and Effective Action in Gwadar Foils Fitna al-Hindustan Attack; 3 Terrorists Killed

Quetta — According to security sources, security forces have foiled a cowardly attempt by Fitna al-Hindustan to attack an empty camp of a construction company in Gwadar through timely and effective action. Security sources said that during the successful counter-operation, the forces sent 3 terrorists to hell, while 3 more terrorists have also been encircled by the security forces. In addition, in view of another attempted attack, an operation is also underway against terrorists present in a hotel near the Gwadar highway, where four more terrorists are surrounded by the forces. Security sources confirmed that the GOC Gwadar himself is leading the entire operation.

Meanwhile, according to a report by the news agency UNA, on Thursday evening unidentified armed men carried out intense attacks at two different locations on the Pak-Iran border and in the coastal areas of Gwadar. According to details, armed men attacked a National Logistics Cell (NLC) post at Border No. 250 on the Pak-Iran border and set several vehicles parked there on fire. At the same time, a security forces camp at Jiwani Zero Point was also targeted with heavy weapons. The sound of intense explosions during the attacks echoed across Gwadar city, while the impact of the blasts also shattered the windows of the GDA Hospital. According to reports, intense firing continued in the area until evening.

Immediately after the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and put security on extremely high alert. There has so far been no official confirmation of the loss of life and property, deaths, or injuries resulting from the attacks, while further details from the authorities are awaited.
