Balochistan CM Presides Over High-Level Meeting to Review Security Situation Following Recent Terror Attack
Quetta: A high-level meeting on law and order, chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sardar Fazal Bggti, was held at the Chief Minister Secretariat on Friday. The meeting focused on reviewing the overall security situation in the province, with a particular emphasis on the recent terrorist attack in Dub Sarh Daki.
The session was attended by Balochistan’s Inspector General of Police, Moazzam Jah Ansari, and other senior security officials who briefed the CM on the motivations behind the attack, the current progress in the investigation, and the steps taken by law enforcement agencies so far.
CM Sardar Bggti described the attack as a serious challenge to the state’s authority and issued clear instructions for the apprehension of the terrorists involved in this heinous act. “Those responsible for the killings of innocent citizens in Balochistan will not be shown any leniency. They must be brought to justice,” the CM said, emphasizing the government’s resolve to track down the terrorists to the very end.
The Chief Minister further declared that there would be no compromise on law enforcement in Balochistan, adding, “We will take decisive and swift action against these terrorists.” He also emphasized the need for joint and effective operations between the police and levies, without any distinction in their jurisdictions, to ensure that such elements are prevented from resurfacing in any region of the province.
During the meeting, CM Bggti stressed the importance of enhancing the response mechanism for terrorism-related incidents, ensuring quick, coordinated, and efficient responses to such attacks. “There will be no compromise on the rule of law in Balochistan. We will confront anti-peace elements with full force,” he stated.
The CM also paid tribute to the martyrs of the Dub Sarh Daki attack, and a prayer was offered for the deceased at the beginning of the meeting.
This strong statement from the Chief Minister reflects the provincial government’s unwavering commitment to tackling terrorism and maintaining law and order in Balochistan, amid increasing security challenges.
