**Historic End to Half-Century-Old Tribal Feud in Gulistan Marks Major Step Toward Peace and Unity: Pakhtunkhwa National Awami Party**

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily)** – The Pakhtunkhwa National Awami Party (PNAP) has hailed the resolution of a 50-year-old tribal feud in Gulistan as a “historic achievement” and a “significant step toward lasting peace and unity” in the region.

According to a provincial press release issued by the party, the reconciliation between the families of **Syed Haji Hanif Agha** and **Syed Nasro Agha** has been warmly welcomed across the area. The statement described the peace agreement as a “victory for tribal traditions and a powerful symbol of Pashtun unity.”

Prominent tribal figures — including **Ahmad Khan Ghabzai**, **Malik Shahjahan Kakar**, **Akhtar Khan Kakar**, **Amir Jan Agha**, and other elders — played a key role as mediators, whose dedicated efforts led both families to end their long-standing enmity with mutual embrace and reconciliation.

The PNAP noted that the resolution of such a long-standing conflict in a sensitive region like Gulistan serves as a “beacon of hope” for the broader Pashtun community, setting a precedent for ending tribal disputes and establishing sustainable peace.

A grand **tribal Jirga and Nanawati ceremony** was held in Gulistan to mark the reconciliation. The event was attended by senior party leaders, including **Central Senior Secretary Syed Qadir Agha**, **Central Information Secretary Muhammad Isa Roshan**, **Central Finance Secretary Yusuf Khan Kakar**, **Provincial Secretary Faqir Khushal Kasi**, **Central Committee Member Sardar Asif Khan Sargarh**, and several other provincial and district leaders, scholars, tribal elders, and a large number of citizens.

Concluding their statement, the PNAP emphasized that the Pashtun-Afghan nation is built on the foundations of honor, respect, and hospitality, but that historical conspiracies aimed to divide and weaken its unity. The party declared that such Jirgas and peace initiatives are “milestones in strengthening brotherhood and harmony” among the Pashtun people.

The statement ended with appreciation for all mediators and participants, expressing hope that this historic reconciliation will serve as an inspiration for peace and solidarity throughout the Pashtun homeland.
