Protests and Rallies Across Balochistan on Kashmir Black Day: Solidarity with Kashmiris, Condemnation of Indian Occupation

Quetta: Across **Balochistan**, large-scale **protests, rallies, and public gatherings** were held to mark **Kashmir Black Day**, condemning India’s **illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir** and expressing **solidarity with the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.**
Demonstrations took place in **Quetta, Khuzdar, Mastung, Lasbela, Naseerabad, Sohbatpur, Jaffarabad, Sibi, Zhob, Qila Saifullah, Pishin, Loralai, Chaman, Duki, Barkhan, Chagai, Sherani, Turbat, Panjgur, Washuk, Kharan, Gwadar, Awaran, Harnai, Kalat, Makran, and Dera Murad Jamali**, where participants — including citizens, students, teachers, civil officers, tribal elders, and political leaders — carried banners and placards reading *“Kashmir will become Pakistan,” “Stop Indian atrocities,”* and *“We stand with our Kashmiri brothers.”*
Speakers at the rallies said that **October 27, 1947**, remains the *darkest day in Kashmir’s history*, when India **violated international law** and **illegally occupied** the region. They condemned the **ongoing human rights violations** in Indian-occupied Kashmir, including the **abuse of women, enforced disappearances of youth, and extrajudicial killings**, and criticized the **global community’s silence** on these atrocities.
Participants urged the **United Nations, UN Security Council, and international human rights organizations** to take effective measures to ensure the **Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination** as promised under international resolutions.
The rallies concluded with **national anthems, prayers for Kashmir’s freedom,** and resounding chants of *“Kashmir will become Pakistan!”* — reaffirming **Balochistan’s unwavering support** for the Kashmiri people’s struggle for independence.
